With many years’ experience in the general insurance industry, Ms. Brown has overseen multi-million dollar contractual matters as a corporate attorney and chartered insurer as head of claims and legal in her pervious role. She also served as an active member of the Claims and Underwriting sub-committee and the Legal Affairs sub-committee of the Insurance Association of Jamaica.

Her diverse background includes roles as a loss adjuster in an international loss adjusting firm and a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She is committed to giving back to her community being a Justice of the Peace and has served as a mentor at the University of the West Indies, Mona for several years.

Godfrey Heron B.Sc. (Hons)

Godfrey joined Caribbean Assurance Brokers Limited (CAB) in May 2010 in the capacity of Operations Manager.

He brought to the position a wealth of knowledge acquired as the owner of Irie Isle Online, a web hosting business which he spearheaded for 8 years.

He also held positions as Auditor at Peat Marwick, Logistics Manager at Xerox (Ja.) Ltd. and Inventory Manager at Sun Island Jamaica Ltd.

Although he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, he has always displayed a keenness for technical matters, completing several courses in Information Technology and now his expertise straddles both the Accountancy and Information Technology fields.

He is a fervent believer in continuous self–education, an accomplished researcher and has an insatiable appetite for knowledge. It is with this passion that Godfrey has made a difference at CAB; recognizing the need to continuously increase the efficiency with which we serve our customers by utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Damion White has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning 13 years in personal and commercial underwriting and 16 years in risk management and broking. During this time, he was instrumental in setting up a branch office of a major broking firm in the Commonwealth of Dominica.

He holds a Diploma in Insurance from the College of Insurance and Professional Studies and a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). He is currently pursuing the ACII designation through the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).
