Nicholas Chin is the Acting Manager, IT and Operations at Caribbean Assurance Brokers Limited (CAB), where he supports the organization’s technology strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operational efficiency. With over 16 years of experience in Information Technology, he brings extensive experience in the design, implementation, management, and support of enterprise technology environments.

Prior to joining CAB in 2012, Nicholas worked with several organizations, supporting the development and optimization of secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environments. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in network and systems administration, IT infrastructure planning, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and business process improvement, with a strong focus on using technology to improve organizational efficiency and resilience.

Nicholas is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the University of the West Indies, Mona, and holds professional certifications and qualifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer, and Records & Information Management (Hons.).

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Nicholas is an avid outdoorsman and motorsports enthusiast. He has competed in motorsport events across Jamaica, the United States, and the wider Caribbean.
