Jennifer is a Trinidadian native and a past student of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management.

She worked with the Maritime Financial Group for 13 years gaining valuable experience in the General and Life Insurance Divisions.

She has also worked in their Finance Company where she was involved in Consumer Loans and Mortgages. During this period, she acquired her ACII, FLMI, ACS and AIAA designations.

She currently holds the position of Vice President of Group Pension Underwriting and was previously Second Vice President of Group Pension Underwriting for Mutual of America Life Insurance of New York, and brings to the Board a wealth of experience and technical expertise.
